Hand eye coordination activity for toddlers

A game for hand eye coordination and problem solving

Today I am sharing a game that requires a very easy setup.

The materials required for this game are very easily available at home – a dowel, two chairs and half a dozen of cloth hangers.

As I said, the set up is very simple. Connect the chairs using the dowel. Invite the child to place the hangers in the dowel.

We started with the children’s hangers.

Slowly got promotion to adults hangers.

Sometimes it was tricky to find out how to hang the big hanger.

Once she completed hanging six hangers, I showed her how to remove the hangers. It added another fun challenge. While removing each and every hanger, she was repeating my words, “slowly bring towards this side, lift up and remove”,

Once she removed all hangers, she was repeating this simple fun game again and again .

I really enjoy setting up activities, which do not require much time from my side but provide many learning opportunities for my kids. This activity is one of them.
