Kid made Valentine’s day card

We prefer to give  home made gifts.  But when my daughter had to make valentine’s day gifts for 22 kids in the class in the last minute, I preferred computer printout cards.  I know my seven year old can make a beautiful card using my favorite site www.picmonkey.com. Yes, it is my third post with in 3 days about picmonkey. We like it very much because it is very easy to use and free.
I showed her how to create collage and all the editing work was done by her.
What we did :
We chose the option collage from the front page. It asked for a photo. We chose some picture, as we weren’t going to use it anywhere in the card making. We clicked on swatches, dragged and dropped the background onto the canvas. Clicked on “Edit” on the top of the screen and went into Editor mode.
She went wild when I showed her about overlays. Obviously, she chose hearts  for valentine’s day and started playing with that.  She added some labels and text. Her card was done. She was very happy to create cards for her friends.
When she was satisfied with her creation, I saved the masterpiece in my computer. I printed 4 copies in one cardstock . In the printer option, I duplicated the copies in the same page by making “copies of each picture” as 4
Printed out, cut and cards were sent out to school on the next day.
This is the card made by my daughter.
Hope this tutorial will help you if you are like us to do last minute cards.
